DUTCH YOUTH REGATTA 2010

It has been a fantastic Regatta!

This year more than 670 boats with more than 770 sailors from 16 countries were present.

Until the very last race we have seen concentrated sailing to reach for the top ranking. The weather conditions have treated us well: generally speaking we have had good winds. A bit cold, but fortunately no rain.

Thanks to the input of the Class organizations, Zeilvereniging Workum, Peter Lammers of the beach pavilion IJsselmeerzicht, sponsorfriends, and the many volunteers, the organization both on shore and on the water went very well. All planned races have been sailed.

For everyone who has helped to make this years event a great youth sailing regatta:
